International School: Language and literacy in migration context

We are pleased to announce that the International School organised under the framework of Erasmus Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), 2023-2024 will be held from April to June. The central theme of the virtual and face-to-face events will be Language and literacy in migration context.

The virtual phase will consist of three meetings through MS Teams and held by internationally recognised experts in the field of language, literacy and migration from 24 to 26 April. Chosen topics:

• Pleasure reading for adult immigrants with limited literacy and how to produce your own
• Multilingualism and literacy in relation to the CEFR and in the field of language teaching planning

The face-to-face part in Brno will take place from 3 to 7 June. The wide range of lecture topics will be complemented by peer-to-peer activities and workshops, in which students will be welcome to join and comment on case studies within the central theme of the event.
