28th edition of the PhD School – École doctorale des Pays de Visegrád.

From Wednesday, September 3rd to Friday, September 5th, 2025, the Department of Romance Languages and Literatures at the Faculty of Arts, Masaryk University had the pleasure of hosting the 28th edition of the PhD School – École doctorale des Pays de Visegrád.

This year’s program offered a rich and engaging lineup of presentations and discussions. Although many participants were unable to join us in person—most notably several students from Morocco who faced visa issues—the event successfully embraced a hybrid format. Sessions were held simultaneously in three virtual rooms, which posed a logistical challenge but ultimately proved to be a valuable learning experience for future events.

 We extend our heartfelt thanks to all speakers and attendees for contributing to an inspiring gathering filled with thoughtful exchange, reflection, and collaboration. We look forward to welcoming you again in Brno on future occasions!
